Create our own Centerpiece and stick to your budget!

Wedding centerpieces are a focal point for your wedding. Depending on how elaborate you plan on getting the cost to rent these centerpieces can be exuberant. Sticking to a budget does not always allow for such extravagant purchases so brides today are getting involved in their own creations unique to their weddings. The most important question you need to ask in regards to your Wedding Decor is, Am I allowed to have an open flame? Many halls today are not permitting the use of candles anymore as they pose a threat to the safety of their clients as well as their establishment. Also I have learned recently that some halls are even saying no to the use of Halogen bulbs as they generate too much heat and when using them with fabrics used to decorate tables or backdrops they too can also be a fire hazard. So what can you use? LED is the answer. There are so many possibilities as LED emits zero heat and more often than not the decor lighting is wireless. If you want to break free from the traditional white lights, LED offers a rainbow of colours. The products are so easy to use, you do not have to be a decorator or lighting expert to create a centerpiece that your guests will be talking about long after your special day.

Recently I have had several brides purchasing Floralyte Submersibles to create their own centerpieces. As I get photos submitted I will be posting them with how much it costs to create per table.

This photo was submitted by Karen from Alberta who bought from Kismet Candles the Floralyte Submersible III in Teal. She used a mix of clear and teal glass pebbles. Karen bought the Glassware and the glass pebbles at the dollar store. The Orchid was cut from a long stem of 6 and the teal stones were purchased at Michael's Craft store (with a coupon) Karen tells me that the price of her centerpieces were approx $12 per table.
